OWNERS
...Ken & Di in Victoria, B.C. have completely redone their Trillium 4500 and made some remarkable changes to it. Check out a Trillium made for Two.
...Gord100's Trillium Pages. This guy has a Trillium Trailer and a lot of good ideas.
...Another American success story. Dennis from deep in the heart of Dixie (N'awleens) has got a "new" '79 Boler he's done some remarkable things with.
...Bolerama. The home of Boler and Trillium stats, projects, and pictures. There's also stuff posted here about Trilliums. Lisa Vanderwiel's page that initially got us hooked on this stuff. (Thanks, Lisa :-)
...Scamp Owners International. These folks were organized right here in Florida in 1999 and now meet all over the country spreading the fiberglass gospel to all the unwashed masses. This site is maintained by Rod Cranson.
FORUMS or WHERE TO GET HELP
.... Fiberglass RV.com Not the original but quickly becoming one of the most active. This forum, also called "MFROG" is about the most ecumenical of all the fiberglass forums. Navigation is a cinch, joining is a breeze (unlike YAHOO), there are no ads (unlike YAHOO & DELPHI), and the postings are up-to-date and helpful. Thanks to Michael Sanders for this exemplary effort.
...Casita Club Forum. As the name implies, it's mainly Casita folks here but all are welcome. Eric Mayer has done a good job of organizing things here.
...CasitaForum.com Not to be confused with the OTHER Casita forum noted above, and not to besmerch either effort, but this one is almost identical to that one and I have no clue why the two of them exist. I am CERTAIN someone who reads this will eventually clue me in on the politics involved here. :-)
...Boler-Canada.com This is an excellent site maintained by a veteran Bolerite from the Emily get-togethers, Hal Hall (aka: Camera_Guy). Neat pictures and many good links.
...Bolerama Discussion Forum. This is the place to find dozens of folks who own and enjoy mostly Bolers and Trilliums. It's a "discussion forum" that you must join (it only takes a minute and so far it doesn't cost anything). Once a member, you can read messages dating back several months and post questions or comments of your own. Although neither brand is being manufactured any longer, if you're looking to buy a used one, need parts or advice on fix-up projects, or just want to share the joy of ownership this free-wheeling forum is the place to be. AND CLICK ON THE DARN ADS!! (That'll help keep the forum alive.)
...Yahoo's Bolertrailerclub Forum. This forum is actually pretty lame. Not many folks use it. Yahoo has also recently changed it's privacy policy to allow sharing of your email addy to all their advertisers. If you registered here in the past and suddenly seem to be getting more junk mail, chances are this is why.
...Island Boler Forum. "Trailerray" (Ray Howard) over at the Boler discussion group (see above) has created a new forum on Delphi.com that's called Island Bolers. Most of the focus here is organizing folks in western Canada and the US for get-togethers out on the left coast.
...Egbert's own Tips page. A shamelessly ripped off collection of some of the postings to the Bolerama site since September, 2001. We hope you will find tips & tricks here that may make your camping eggsperience more enjoyable. Thanks to everyone who continues to contribute and makes that site so successful.
MANUFACTURERS
...Casita. The home page of Casita Travel Trailers. Sold direct from the factory in Rice, Texas. They may be a bit pricey, but they've got some nice features.
...Scamp. Scamp Trailers apparently have the rights to manufacture the old Boler specs. They also make a fifth-wheel model for the luxury crowd. You can get some parts for Boler and Trillium from here. Homebase: Backus, Minnesota.
...Trillium Trillium Travel Trailer Manufacturing of Calgary, Alberta has bought the mold and is re-introducing a new version of the Trillium 1300 called the "Outback". While it ain't cheap, it does appear to be close to the original in size, style and features and would thus be an excellent investment for someone in the market for a new one of that size.
...Escape The Escape Trailer is a 17 foot Trillium-like model that's being built in British Columbia. They are not cheap but do have several really nice features. If it wasn't so costly, it might be a great start on the ideal larger fiberglass egg with a bath.
...Burro. Burro Travel Trailers are also only built to order. They come from San Diego. (I actually thought they had quit making these things... guess I was wrong.)
OTHER LINKS OF INTEREST
... Casita Travel Trailer Resources Casita folks have an owners group that has a web site with an EXCELLENT page of links for all sorts of travel trailer enthusiasts... including us.
...Vintage Trailer Links. All of 'em. This page has more links to camper-trailer sites than Carter's got little liver pills.
...Dometic RV Products. I don't know about yours, but my Trillium has a Dometic fridge. Need parts, service or looking to upgrade? These guys put out a good product.
...So what IS a Trillium, anyway? Where the name comes from.
